May 2017 – week 20

Welcome back to this year’s photo-a-day journey. I’m sharing little bits of my daily life & travels.

This week’s weather has really been beautiful – warmer, lots of breezes, and even a couple of short-lived thunderstorms…perfect spring weather!

Now onto this week’s photos:

May 14 – first coffee on the deck; after our long, cold winter, the first coffee on the porch is something to celebrate!

May 15 – moonlight on the creek; I still find night photography a challenge, but am pleased with this photo. It was a beautiful night!

May 16 – beautiful Picton Bay; the view from the boat launch at the marina.

May 17 – spring sunlight; don’t you just love the way the sun filters through the spring trees, just before they are in full leaf…such pretty light.

May 18 – quiet reflections; recent flooding has made for some wonderful photo opportunities.

May 19 – that view! Bright blue spring skies with lots of clouds, bright spring green & an apple tree in full blossom! All things spring, rolled into one photo!

May 20 – flooded marshland; even on a cloudy morning, the view is gorgeous!
