Welcome back to this year’s photo-a-day journey. I’m sharing little bits of my daily life & travels.
This week’s weather has been typically spring-like again. We are definitely easing into the warmer summer days very slowly this year…a couple of warm & sunny days, and a few cooler, damp days…rain and sun in equal measures.
Now onto this week’s photos:
May 21 – make a wish! A dandelion gone to seen brings memories of childhood…
May 22 – lilacs are blooming; you can smell their sweet sent everywhere.
May 23 – wild phlox along the fence line; purple seems to be the predominant colour right now.
May 24 – the simple beauty of the creek bank in spring; the early morning light just brings out all the bright colour of spring; the bright green of all the new growth and the purple of the wild violets sprinkled here & there and even the soft yellow of wild mustard just starting to bloom.
May 25 – stormy skies over Wellington; a typical spring; sunlight for a while; then sudden dark skies. Be patient, the sun will be out again, very soon!
May 26 – high water at Sandbanks Provincial Park; the water levels of Lake Ontario are at all time highs; you can usually walk along this shoreline.
May 27 – just waiting for a picnic; though still a little brisk, this will be a perfect spot for a picnic very, very soon…
As always, I thank you for visiting. Feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.
Until next time, Connie 🙂
