In this post we are exploring “creative blur”.
Motion or blur in photography is often associated with a poorly exposed photo, but it doesn’t have to be. You can really have some fun with blur.
This first photo was a fun experiment. I set my camera on a slow shutter speed, then spun around in my backyard. After several attempts, this is the best of the bunch. A lovely abstract photo!
In this second photo, I have added some fun, blur filters in post editing; giving the impression of movement. I include the original below.
