June/July 2017 – week 26

Welcome back to this year’s photo-a-day journey. I’m sharing little bits of my daily life & travels.

This week we mark the completion of the first half of the year!  How time seems to be flying by! The weather is still quite wet & rainy…but it is warm, so no real complaints!

Now onto this week’s photos:

June 25 – breakfast; we seem to have quite a colony of chipmunks around our property this year. They are very personable & always entertaining. This little guy was enjoying his/her breakfast.

June 26 – hostas are blooming; this particular hosta has the most gorgeous, white blooms!

June 27 – approaching storm; while walking along the waterfront in the little town of Wellington, we watched a sudden storm approaching. This particular storm produced lots of high wind, but not much rain….that was saved for another that followed later in the early evening.

June 28 – splash – high water still; again in Wellington – you can see that the levels of Lake Ontario are still very high. Here we watch the windswept waves saturating peoples’ back yards.

June 29 – peony; just beautiful!

June 30 – geranium; a bright red for Canada Day!

June At-a-Glance; looks like the month of flowers!

July 1 – Happy Canada Day! Even the flowers are trying to be fireworks!
