July 2017 – week 27

Welcome back to this year’s photo-a-day journey. I’m sharing little bits of my daily life & travels.

Here we are, officially into the second half of the year!  The weather is finally summer-time weather…hot, humid, & with a generous sprinkling of thunderstorms.

Now onto this week’s photos:

July 2 – oh, what a beautiful morning; first day of a summer long weekend starting out perfectly.

July 3 – a perfect summers day; these are the ones we will always remember….this is the driveway at Casa Dea Winery in Prince Edward County, where we popped in for a tasting.

July 4 – hatchlings; I love watching Mama Robin feeding her young … though at the time of writing this post, they have already flown the nest!

July 5 – knitting; found this wonderful metal sculpture at The Shed at Chetwyn Farms; a local alpaca farm.  The have the cutest alpacas, lots of wool, and alpaca products, like hats, mittens, blankets, etc.  Make sure to stop by when you come to ‘the County’.

July 8 – turtle pond; late afternoon, on a summer’s day, looking for the turtles cruise about their natural habitat. (Unfortunately we didn’t see any turtles this trip)
