July 2017 – week 29

Welcome back to this year’s photo-a-day journey. I’m sharing little bits of my daily life & travels.

This week’s weather has been mostly beautiful with the odd rain showers in between; July at it’s best!

Now onto this week’s photos:

July 16 – hollyhocks; summer-time drives always include a trip through Waupoos where the hollyhocks grow all along the roadside in a riot of colour!

July 17 – gorgeous views; vineyard, blue skies & a glimpse of South Bay in the distance…it’s the view from the County Cider Company.

July 20 – bees in the lavender; a visit to the lavender fields, is filled with the heady scent of lavender & is accompanied by the constant hum of busy honey bees.

July 21 – sunrise over the beehives; the view on my way to work…a farmer has placed hives at the edge of his canola field.  if you look closely at the bottom of the hives, you can see the bees…

Until next time, Connie 🙂

I am living my dream life in the country! I love photography, travelling, cooking, baking and I even try my hand at quilting.
