September 2017 – week 36

Welcome back to this year’s photo-a-day journey. I’m sharing little bits of my daily life & travels.

This week’s weather is, in a word, changeable! Sun & blue sky one minute, & heavy rain with thunder & lightening the next.

Now onto this week’s photos:

September 3 – sunflower season; late summer is the time for sunflowers and they are everywhere. I like to think they are ‘happy’ flowers!

September 4 – and so it begins; with cooler nights and shorter days the inevitable happens, leaves start to change color – autumn is just around the corner.

September 5 – another old barn; this one just down the road…I am so drawn to these old buildings.

September 6 – rural views; more shots from my neighbourhood. The final days of summer are definitely upon us.

September 7 – rainbow; this is how my day started…it had to be a good day with a sweet beginning like this!

September 8 – quiet marina; I was happy to fit in an early morning walk before work, and in such a peaceful setting.

September 9 – early morning walk; taking full advantage of the daylight hours that are quickly getting shorter…another morning; another walk…this one closer to home…more views of my neighbourhood.

As always, I thank you for visiting. Feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.

Until next time, Connie 🙂

I am living my dream life in the country! I love photography, travelling, cooking, baking and I even try my hand at quilting.
