Welcome back to this year’s photo-a-day journey. I’m sharing little bits of my daily life & travels.
This week’s weather has been wonderful – perfect summer weather! Let’s all enjoy every minute before the colder weather sets in!
Now onto this week’s photos:
September 10 – number two; all the birdhouses at Sandbanks Provincial Park are numbered. (I assume for tracking purposes.) This is ‘number two’; and there was nobody home.
September 11 – autumn is approaching; the little purple flowers on this vine have turned to red berries…a sure sign of autumn’s approach!
September 12 – morning reflections; I cross the ‘Bay Bridge’ every day, to & from work. Some mornings, if I have time, I love to stop & stroll through the park & marina. This particular morning was so peaceful & serene. A perfect opportunity for a calm moment to begin a hectic work day.
September 13 – colours of autumn; this little tree was left leaning due to high water levels in Lake Ontario. The water has receded slightly, and I hope this little maple tree survives! In the meantime, it adds a pretty splash of color on the shoreline.
September 14 – tenacity; it always amazes me how a tree can take hold and survive in some very difficult conditions. This poplar tree is just hanging on by its roots…they are snaking across the crevices in the rocks, looking for any tiny opportunity to take hold.
September 15 – two bees; I was so focused on the bumble bee, that I didn’t realise that I captured two bees until I downloaded the photos…what a happy surprise.
September 16 – rocky beach layers; a different view of the rocky layers at Sandbanks Provincial Park.
As always, I thank you for visiting. Feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.
Until next time, Connie 🙂
