Welcome back to this year’s photo-a-day journey. I’m sharing little bits of my daily life & travels.
This week I’m home again. Vacations are great, but there is no place like home…even if your first morning back to work is only 1C! Other than the one cold morning, the weather has been beautiful, autumn weather – cool morning, warm afternoons, with a few sprinkles of rain in between.
Now onto this week’s photos:
September 2017 – another month completed! I love the little collages of the whole month, they make me happy….this month is one of my favourites.
October 1 – sun sparkles through the trees; they may not be palm trees, but they are mine and the sun sparkles just a prettily through them. There really is no place like home.
October 2 – morning sun over the wetlands; I haven’t stopped here since last winter, as the water level were so very high. What a pretty morning with the mist rising.
October 3 – pumpkin harvest; I love how colourful this time of year is. This is one of my favourite farms showing some of their pumpking harvest!
October 4 – awesome ‘warty pumpkins’; OK…are these not the coolest pumpkins? I just love the texture!
October 5 – today’s sunrise; the days are getting shorter again. This was the view from my corner as I left for work. I love seeing the sun rise as I’m headed to work.
October 6 – misty morning; this is a week of beautiful sunrises – they never get old. Autumn weather also makes for morning mists and interesting lighting.
October 7 – a wall of red; I had to capture this glorious wall of red while running around completing several errands. A boring cinderblock wall is transformed with ivy and this time of year it just blazes with red, shouting, “look at me!”.
As always, I thank you for visiting. Feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.
Until next time, Connie 🙂
