Welcome back to this year’s photo-a-day journey. I’m sharing little bits of my daily life & travels.
This week’s weather has been cold, damp and grey; with wind and rain – typical of this time of year. Add to that shorter days, and you really feel like hibernating!
Now onto this week’s photos:
November 12 – last one with colour; walking through the local conservation area, we spotted one tree with a few leaves left.
November 13 – ready for winter; still a bit of colour left in the planter outside the front door – leaves & the odd geranium petal…
November 14 – typical November sky; this sums up the week’s weather…though at present it wasn’t raining. I still find this beautiful.
November 15 – gnarly; I love all the texture on this tree – can you see the face?
November 16 – gone to seed; goldenrod – not so golden any more, but very fluffy!
November 17 – an inviting place to pause; these golden leaves felt like a beacon, this grey day. What a pretty spot to sit & reflect.
November 18 – rail fence in the park; I love old fences, don’t you? The few remnants of colour accentuate the neutrals of the tree trunks and fence rails.
As always, I thank you for visiting. Feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.
Until next time, Connie 🙂
