December 2017 – week 49

Welcome back to this year’s photo-a-day journey. I’m sharing little bits of my daily life & travels.

Here we are already into December. Where did the time go! There are only have a few more weeks left of the year!

This week’s weather has been colder each day. We even had some snow that stayed on the ground, making for the first wintery drive to work. In all honesty…I like a bit of snow this time of year, it helps get me in the holiday spirit!

Now onto this week’s photos:

December 3 – in my happy place; the kitchen! First up, a batch of granola…then on to some fun Christmas baking….

December 4 – a foggy start to the day; the fluctuating temperatures at this time of the year, make for great photo opportunities…

December 5 – early morning store window; I took a small detour through the little hamlet of Bloomfield this day and noticed a pretty window decorated for Christmas! I just had to stop and capture it.

December 6 – caught the exact moment the sun burst through the clouds; the sky was such a pretty colour, but I was thrilled to catch these rays!

December 7 – Picton Harbour; it is always so peaceful here in the mornings.

December 8 – first snowy drive to work; love the clouds here…they were moving quickly across the sky. I can say I was very thankful for my snow tires!

December 9 – industrial light; always on the look out, I found this interesting light fixture & ceiling at the venue for my company’s Holiday Social. (a good time was had by all!)
