December 2017 – week 50

Welcome back to this year’s photo-a-day journey. I’m sharing little bits of my daily life & travels.

Here we are already into December. Where did the time go! There are only have a few more weeks left of the year!

This week’s weather has welcomed winter, even though we haven’t reached the winter solstice yet. It snowed and stayed. The roads were slippery and I had to get out the heavy-duty winter coats & boots. But it is so very pretty!

Now onto this week’s photos:

December 10 – Christmas lights – inside & out; candlelight, outside Christmas tree lights and reflections of both…getting into the holiday spirit.

December 11 – ‘all is calm’; a quick morning stop on my way to work to view the sunrise…calm & quiet, very peaceful…all the birds & animals must know there is snow on the way.

December 12 – what a difference a day makes; and here is the snow….we won’t be using the patio this morning!

December 13 – shadow play; there are such lovely decorations on our town’s Main Street. I love the shadow play & the tracks in the new snow!

December 14 – farm store lights; I love that even the local Farm Supply Store puts up Christmas lights…everyone is getting festive!

December 15 – warming up the car; the view from the driveway – crescent moon just as it was getting light out.
