Welcome back to this year’s photo-a-day journey. I’m sharing little bits of my daily life & travels.
Here we are already into December. Where did the time go! It’s the second last week of the year with Christmas upon us!
This week’s weather is full-out winter! Snow, cold and even some freezing rain (yuck!) … it looks like we will have a white Christmas!
Now onto this week’s photos:
December 17 – Christmas trees in a field; I love coming upon decorated trees in a random field.
December 18 – wreath; a variety of greens…and real snow…a thing of beauty.
December 19 – morning sunlight on icicles; at a local garden centre…
December 20 – Christmas cactus; my Mom had a fabulous green thumb! She always had the most blooms on her Christmas cactus; she even won ribbons! My hubby saw this in his holiday shopping travels and brought this home as a surprise for me & thoughts of Mom this time of year. Happy tears!
December 21 – quiet morning coffee; good coffee…festive cups, festive table mat…good start to a busy pre-holiday day!
December 22 – Mom’s ornament on our tree (and the banner photo too!); more happy memories of Christmases past! Mom loved Christmas; there are lots great memories & great stories.
December 23 – only two more sleeps; Christmas is slowly (or not so slowly) coming into focus!
As always, I thank you for visiting. Feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.
