Thank you for joining me on this year’s journey, as I shared little bits of my daily life & travels. I can hardly believe that it is the last post of the year! This successfully completes 4 full years of taking a photo every day. I continue to enjoy this endeavour, so will continue for the foreseeable future.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone reading this blog a Happy New Year! I hope it is filled with all you hold dear; good health, happiness, prosperity & lots of creative fun!
This week’s weather can be described with one word … SNOW … and lots of it! The good part is that is fluffy; but is is just SO pretty!!!
Now onto this week’s photos:
December 24 – White Christmas; a beautiful sight to see on Christmas Eve…a pretty dusting of fluffy snow. It looks just like a picture postcard. Can it get any better than that?
December 25 – Merry Christmas to all; each ornament in this jug represents a gratitude or blessing in my world. I am truly blessed and hope each and every one of you has your own jug, overflowing with love, happiness and good health.
December 26 – snowy winter walk; as December and the holidays are a time of feasting & excess with lots and lots of sweet & delicious treats…a hike through the snow is in order to keep a little balance in our lifestyle. It’s so nice to have this trail right at the end of our road.
December 27 – a chilly day at the beach; chilly being an understatement! The biting wind was extremely bitter; I only lasted long enough to take a very few shots…even my camera groaned with the cold! However, I’m so pleased I managed to catch one of the waves breaking on the icy shore…you can see how strong the wind was in the spray…and that dark cloud was a snow squall developing over the lake…we got home just in time.
December 28 – frozen duck pond; back to work and taking a moment for a restorative breath at one of the bayside parks; my favourite way to start my work days.
December 29 – so cold, but so pretty; more snow…the snow is getting pretty deep with more on the way.
December 30 – winter wonderland; we woke up to even more snow…though I can’t complain when this is my view from my back porch.
December 31 – Happy New Year!!! All the very best to you and your families from mine!
