Welcome and thank you for joining me on this year’s project of taking/posting photos every day.
This week’s weather can be described in one word … snow. It feels like it will never stop snowing, but it certainly is pretty!
Now onto this week’s photos:
February 4 – Sunday morning coffee; while watching a gentle snowfall…a perfect start to the day and the week…
February 5 – snowy ferry crossing; this snow squall whipped up suddenly while we were on the ferry. Between the snow, wind & ice, I was thankful it is only a short trip (10 minutes). It certainly looks bleak!
February 6 – snow laden burrs; everything is buried…just a few weeds sticking out of the snow.
February 7 – temperature rising; it snowed overnight and now the temperature is rising. I managed to capture the beginning of the melting. Kind of cool, don’t you think?
February 8 – ‘it’s a marshmallow world’; we have had some pretty extremes in temperature this winter. This warming/cooling trend has formed an interesting creek bank ice…that now look like marshmallows with the new snow.
February 9 – crescent moon over a winter wonderland; yet another morning of new snow. This is the view across the street from my house. On this particular morning, the new snow was deeper than the bumper of my car. I was driving to work with the snow blowing up and over my car hood. Instead of driving, it felt like floating!
February 10 – snowing again; happy Saturday and welcome to some more snow! It is so very pretty, as long as you don’t have to shovel it!
I thank you for visiting. Feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.
Until next time, Connie 🙂
