Welcome and thank you for joining me on this year’s project of taking/posting photos every day.
The weather this week has been typical of March in this part of the country; springlike one day, then snow the next and windy…very, very windy!
Now onto this week’s photos:
March 11 – winter is losing its hold; you can see the ice is melting along the shore line. I love the different kinds of water & ice make for interesting reflections here.
March 12 – trails in the lake ice; made by the Glenora Ferry. It was surprising how loud the crunching of the ice is when the ferry is making its way through to the other side.
March 13 – row of tractors; while driving around, we came upon this interesting row of old tractors; rounded a curve in the road & there they were! Interesting enough to stop for a quick photo or two.
March 14 – winter returns; woke up to this view…though it didn’t stay long; by evening it was mostly melted away. It was very pretty while it lasted.
March 15 – country gate; only a little snow from the day before is left. This particular gate draws me in all seasons!
March 16 – spring sky over the bay; the wind was whipping the clouds across the sky and the ice against the shoreline.
March 17 – the old gate post; early morning is probably my favourite time of day to take photos. The light is so soft and special.
I thank you for visiting. Feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.
Until next time, Connie 🙂
