Welcome and thank you for joining me on this year’s project of taking/posting photos every day.
This week’s weather was so lovely & warm, at least until Friday, when we felt a decidedly chilly wind again. But the sun was out, so we really can’t complain.
Now onto this week’s photos:
May 6 – in the crook of the maple; something is growing, thanks to birds or squirrels. I guess we will have to wait to see what it is; and if it survives.
May 7 – pussy willows! I went for an evening walk and saw these pretty pussy willows back-lit by the evening sun!
May 8 – spring stream; Scott’s Mill Creek is running well now, but in the summer it diminishes to a trickle or even nothing at all.
May 9 – new leaves; I love the bright hues of all the new leaves – bright green, bits of red, and as usual, I love how the sun accentuates them against the rest of the brush behind it.
May 10 – view from the top; another view of Scott’s Mill Creek. Here I am looking down over the waterfall. The sun & shadows really show off all the various colors of the water and rocks beneath.
May 11 – the promise of blooms; another shot of my lilac progress…these will be glorious white blooms.
May 12 – still beautiful after a week; I celebrated my birthday early in the week. This bouquet is still looking great! I love the pretty spring colors! It looks like they are being kissed by the morning sun.
I thank you for visiting. Feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.
Until next time, Connie 🙂
