Welcome and thank you for joining me on this year’s project of taking/posting photos every day.
This week’s weather has been quite changeable. Hot days, thunderstorms and then a few really cool days…and now back to warmth.
Now onto this week’s photos:
June 10 – blooming black locust trees; these beautiful blooms can been seen everywhere. They are so pretty, cascading blooms from great, tall trees all over the country side.
June 11 – last night’s sunset; this is the view from my back yard. I never tire of this view, with or without a sunset!
June 12 – “if I don’t move, you can’t see me”; we have a bumper crop of chipmunks this year. They run all over our property and are very entertaining.
June 13 – last light; coming home from work, when the soft, late afternoon sunlight came through the window, landing on the plant on the sill. It was a wonderful quiet moment between the busy day and the evening rush of getting supper on the table.
June 14 – after the rain; I received a weather alert for a severe thunderstorm on my phone while driving home, though it did was still quite bright. I thought I made it home and it looked like I may have missed the storm, but heard thunder in the distance as I got out of the car. After a sudden 10 minute deluge of rain, wind & thunder the sun came out again.
June 15 – pale pink peony; another beautiful flower of the season. This one is the palest pink.
June 16 – hydrangea garden; it was a slow start to the season, but my hydrangea are now doing well and we look forward to their pretty blooms.
I thank you for visiting. Feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.
