July 2018 – week 28

Welcome and thank you for joining me on this year’s project of taking/posting photos every day.

This week’s weather was much like the last one, hot & humid!  I’m not complaining…I remember January & February with the bone chilling cold and run out and just soak up some more of the heat!

Now onto this week’s photos:

July 8 – Maison Depoivre Gallery; a local art gallery with fabulous local art. There is something for everyone. The gallery is located in a renovated barracks in the old Camp Picton. Definitely worth stopping by if you are in the area.

July 9 – back-lit; one of my day-lily’s in the setting sun.

July 10 – first rays; early morning sun on the maple trees in my backyard – I just love the early morning light.

July 11 – tall grass; my next favourite time of day…evening light on the tall grass along our creek bank.

July 12 – ready for harvest; wheat fields everywhere are turning gold and being harvested.

July 13 – looking out to the past; one of the windows at the art gallery. This is like looking out on another era.
