Welcome and thank you for joining me on this year’s project of posting photos every day.
This week’s weather has been very typical of summertime weather. Hot days, lots of humidity, scattered thunderstorms, a little of everything really!
Now onto this week’s photos:
July 22 – I love this pretty & delicate flower, Queen Anne’s Lace. It lines the roadsides in late July. The tall plants wave prettily in the breeze.
July 23 – The curly tendrils caught my attention, but the bright green of the new leaves drew me in. I love the contrast of the bright green foliage against the rough, weathered fence boards.
July 24 – Thunderstorms were predicted and the from the look of this sky, they were not far away.
July 25 – I really love the changing landscape that we witness all summer long. The constant changing of colours provided by the many varieties of wildflowers.
July 26 – After a stormy night, I awoke to a really calm morning. I’m grateful I had the opportunity to stop by the harbour for a few minutes to take in this calm view.
July 27 – Another day and another thunderstorm. This was the view from my favourite marshland, as I made my way to work.
July 28 – Even though purple loosestrife is an invasive species, I think it’s very pretty.
I thank you for visiting and feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.
Until next time, Connie 🙂
