Welcome and thank you for joining me on this year’s project of posting photos every day.
This week’s weather has been very typical or summertime weather. Hot days, lots of humidity, scattered thunderstorms, a little of everything really!
Now onto this week’s photos:
July 29 – A perfect weekend for porch sitting. The weather was hot and humid. Lazy days on the porch were in order, catching a breeze and having a cold beverage was the perfect activity. I love summer!
July 30 – It seems that every week there is a different flower blooming all through the summer months. This week the Scotch Thistles started blooming, much to the delight of the bees.
July 31 – Early morning light is one of my favourite times of the day. My garden looks so pretty with the soft light and interesting shadows.
July At-a-Glance – Another month is now complete! I enjoy seeing all the photos together, don’t you?
August 1 – How exciting! We have tomatoes! The plants were a gift from a good friend. I’m so pleased to see them doing so well. A tomato salad must be in our future.
August 2 – The Hydrangea are growing well. The sun shone, just so, on this particular bloom. Like it was saying, “Look at me!”
August 3 – We are now halfway through summer. All the farms are busy harvesting all kinds of crops. Here is a hay-wagon full of large hay bales.
August 4 – As we travel through the season, some flowers bloom and others finish their cycle. This is the last of my daylilies. It is such a striking shade or red.
I thank you for visiting and feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.
