Welcome and thank you for joining me on this year’s project of posting photos every day.
This week’s weather continues to be very typical of summertime weather. More hot days, still lots of humidity, scattered thunderstorms, a little of everything really!
Now onto this week’s photos:
August 5 – This weekend I am playing tourist at home. One of my daughters has come for a visit, so we are checking out all of our favorite places. Here we are in Waupoos at one of the many wineries.
August 6 – This is the tasting room of The County Cider Company. I love this beautiful barn.
August 7 – Another shot from the weekend, the Tasting Room is open.
August 8 – I found a Monarch caterpillar in the garden! We are very excited. We have kept milkweed in some of our gardens to attract Monarch butterflies.
August 9 – The sky looks very ominous here, though, we didn’t receive any rain. I did hear, however, that others in the area received record amounts of rain.
August 10 – I was up early and managed to capture the exact moment the sun peeked above the horizon.
August 11 – The view from here … my front yard. This morning looks like it will turn into an amazing day.
I thank you for visiting and feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.
Until next time, Connie 🙂
